The Philadelphia "Vicks"

The Philadelphia Eagles will place a franchise tag on Michael Vick during the off-season, according to ESPN reports.

The tag shows all implications that Vick will be the Eagles quarterback of the future. So where does that leave Kevin Kolb?

The Eagles will entertain trade talks from teams interested in the 26-year-old quarterback, according to multiple sources.

Kolb owns a 73.2 career quarterback rating, has thrown for 2,082yrds, 11tds and 14ints while completing 60.8 percent of his passes in his career.

If Kolb is traded, Vick's backup quarterback will be Mike Kafka (as of now), the second-year quarterback out of Northwestern University.

  1. I like your title and the article. I hope Kolb finds a nice home too.
